March 24, 2014 is rapidly approaching! On that day, OFCCP’s new regulations regarding Veterans and Individuals with Disabilities will go into effect. We’ve created a handy checklist to help you prepare for the requirements.
The start date of your Affirmative Action Plan year is the key factor that will determine when you have to comply with the various new requirements. Organizations with AAP years beginning on April 1st will be the first to face the full burden. If you have your 2014 AAP in place before March 24, 2014, many of the new requirements won’t apply to you until the start of your 2015 plan year.
